When searching for a venue for our March 2018 wedding, it was important that we find a space that was “us” and not simply another mundane, unremarkable wedding venue. Splendora Gardens proved to be a unique setting that helped to create a memorable evening that far exceeded our expectations.

Ruby Surls, the daughter of the artist who built Splendora Gardens, was nothing but accommodating during the entire planning process. From hanging lights and decorations to moving exhibition walls around the venue,Ruby allowed us the freedom to turn the space to exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Our guests, the vast majority of whom had never before visited Splendora Gardens, were blown away by the space and we received nothing but positive feedback from all who attended.

Set in the Piney Woods just 35 north of Houston, Splendora Gardens offers a special setting for a truly unforgettable event.

What a treat to have this in our town. It's beautifully set in the woods and the family that has created this is so welcoming and friendly. The place itself is a work of art, the icing on the cake are the diverse works of art that grab your imagination at every turn. Love love love this place.

I absolutely enjoyed my visit. The owner and curator were both there, were very informative and involved with every visitor. The current show has works from all over the nation, from a wide variety of artists and mediums, representing the theme of flowers and gardens. I could've stayed all day standing in front of a few of the beautiful paintings.
